Fortunately, the answer is no. Most folks – upwards of 95% of Americans – are sales-averse, i.e. they don’t like pitching goods to others AND they don’t like being bombarded with high-pressure sales tactics. However, they are willing to consider offers from people they know, like and trust. This is where you and your subscriber list come in. You might have heard the old saying, "people hate to be sold but they love to buy".
Before you send out your first marketing message, you need a list of people to send your emails to. Only send your email marketing messages to people who voluntarily sign up to receive them or you might develop a reputation as a spammer -- someone who sends unsolicited and unwanted email. Create a place on your website for people to sign up for communication from you. If you sell products online, include in the checkout process a way for customers to opt in to future emails from your company. Make sure all of your communications include a link that people can click on to unsubscribe from your marketing.
I’m not happy at all with MailChimp. Has anyone found the same problems with MailChimp as I have? I find that many of my list members unsubscribe from my list daily. I know these people ands contact them and they say they have not unsubscribed. twice I even found my own email taken off the list. When I look into the MailChimp list Spam is the reason for the person’s unsubscription. Over the years I’ve been on MailChimp I’ve contacted support and I’ve done everything I can but nothing has changed. I’m now looking to move to another company.

After all, even if you have no hang-ups pestering people in their inbox, you’re still going to be putting your ideas and thoughts out into the world and that can be scary. Make it Easy to Opt Out & Offer Selective Opt Outs: Another logistical concern to which you need to pay attention is opt outs. Legally, you need to offer an opt out option for your emails, but even if that wasn’t the case, doing so is simply a best practice in keeping your prospects happy and maintaining a positive brand image. As a result, make sure that you make this process as easy as possible. Along the same lines, offering selective opt out options can actually help lower your overall opt out rate by allowing people to stay on some email lists while removing themselves from others.
Make Content an Afterthought: When you’re executing an email campaign, it’s common (and a best practice) to dedicate a lot of your focus on planning your campaign, segmenting your list and building out the emails. Very often, particularly in nurture campaigns and newsletters, content is a critical component of your emails. As a result, you also need to pay attention to the content that you’ll share in these emails. Strategically mapping your content to your email marketing efforts (and even aligning content creation with campaign planning efforts) is critical to your overall success. If your content is simply an afterthought, it shows.

There are several large advertising networks that focus exclusively on creating affiliate relationships between advertisers and publishers. These affiliate networks will handle any necessary paperwork, provide banners and other creative to use on your website, serve as an intermediary in the relationship and make sure that you get paid for your efforts.
No matter how effective the subject line you’ll always have subscribers who don’t open it for a variety of reasons. Send your email again specifically targeting a list segment of those who didn’t open the first time around. Not only is this a second chance in case they just missed the first email, it’s another opportunity to further split test subject lines as well as send times.
