CleverReach is an email marketing tool that uses a drag and drop newsletter editor to help users design emails. The company also provides data on how the email marketing campaigns are doing in addition to the ability to design the campaigns. CleverReach offers a free option, which can send up to 10,000 emails a month to 2,500 recipients for businesses with small email subscriber lists, or those looking to try out the product.
You can shoot videos in BombBomb's app, upload pre-created videos, or pull in YouTube videos, then send them out as email newsletters with text and other details you want. Then, your contacts can reply with video messages of their own, recording a new video email online and sending it back to you through BombBomb. It sounds crazy, but might be the way to break up the monotony of text emails and get your contacts' attention.
Mad Mimi is also a simple email marketing platform to use for creating and sharing email newsletters. It has an uncluttered interface to ensure you only get the features you need when creating your layouts. Once you’re satisfied, you can clone the template and save the custom style for future use. It also has list management, reports, and tracking, among others.
Talk Fusion is an all-in-one video marketing solution that features video email, video newsletters and sign-up forms. Talk Fusion's products run on both PC and Mac operating systems and can be viewed by users on any internet-capable device. In addition, you can create video emails on iPhone, iPad and Android devices using the Fusion on the Go mobile app. For video emails, you just choose a template, record or upload a video, and send. The service provides comprehensive, real-time reports that tell you who opens and reads your emails, what links they clicked, and if they forwarded the email.
I think this email also makes quite a brilliant use of responsive design. The colors are bright, and it's not too hard to scroll and click -- notice the CTAs are large enough for me to hit with my thumbs. Also, the mobile email actually has features that make sense for recipients who are on their mobile device. Check out the CTA at the bottom of the email, for example: The "Open Stitcher Radio" button prompts the app to open on your phone.

Constant Contact's event campaign tool lets you schedule your upcoming events, create a registration page, and spread the word via email and social networks. Then, its social campaigns tool helps you create coupons or downloadable resources for social networks to gain new follows and keep your existing followers excited about your products. Tying it all together is Constant Contact's email tools that let you share these events and promotions in your email newsletter and easily add new subscribers to your lists whenever you run an event or promotion.
ActiveCampaign. It’s an all-around marketing software with features for email marketing, social media marketing, marketing automation and  contact management. The solution even integrates with 150 apps to further extend its functionality to sales and service. ActiveCampaign has site tracking, conditional content, event tracking and API tools. You can also conduct email split testing and sales CRM with this system.

The ability to track onsite events makes ActiveCampaign unique from other services. For example, you can track custom event calls from within mobile apps, billing apps and more. All your customer data will be organized in a sales CRM that gives you a complete picture of your customers. You can use this data to create highly effective marketing campaigns and followups.

The Pro plan, which can have three users at a time, starts at $49 for up to 5,000 subscribers, while the Max plan starts at $165 per month for up to 10,000 subscribers. Committing to one year of service lowers prices by 18 percent, with a two-year commitment bringing them down 30 percent. iContact also offers the Enterprise plan, which supports up to 100,000 contacts. You'll need to contact the company to schedule a demo and obtain a personalized price quote.

Email's important, but so is social and mobile—if anything, the two together are the new email. After all, your phone's always with you, and while you might ignore your email, you're unlikely to turn off your SMS notifications. So Mailigen lets you combine them all, so you can target your audience wherever they're most likely to check their messages.
I’ve always been a mailchimp user myself, and I have to say I really like their UI but I’m always open to new options. I’ve dabbled in a couple of the other email marketing providers like Pure360 – but find them so clunky and annoying to use (despite them looking really pretty and having great templates) that I always end up going back to good old mailchimp. I haven’t used GetResponse yet, I’ll give their free trial a shot :)
No matter what the focus of your newsletter is, you can pull down content from blog posts or search the web to pull content from a variety of sources – Flashissue automatically summarizes this content for you. After populating the editor with a certain number of story summaries, you can change the headline and article descriptions in order to better personalize it for your readers. This allows a more tailored emailer, rather than just generic news.

There’s no denying that email is a huge part of our lives. We receive lots of emails every day – whether its for work, from friends or even from that webshop you purchased from three months back. It is and remains a great way of getting a message across to your target audience without being too invasive. Because email marketing is so effective, it’s role has only become stronger in recent years, even with the rise in popularity of social channels such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. As a result, there are several great email marketing tools available to choose from, many of which cater to the creation, design, distribution and analysis of emails used in email marketing campaigns.

Everything's simpler in Mad Mimi. The email editor helps you search for stock photos, the audience tab shows all your contact details in a tabbed table similar to a spreadsheet, and its social tool lets you add your social profiles to every email automatically. And if that's not enough, click the Add Things button to add a form builder, RSS-to-email tool, drip campaigns, personalization tools, and more. That lets you make Mad Mimi an email newsletter with just the features you want.

Note. SendinBlue‘s pricing is an estimate. SendinBlue is the only company on this list that charges “per email sent” and not depending on the size of your list. So in the table above, I assumed you’re going to be sending 1.5 emails per week to each of your subscribers (a reasonable estimate, I think, for businesses getting started with email marketing).
On the email side, you'll have all the features you'd expect, with a familiar, Office-style editor that lets you drag and drop message components wherever you want, making it easy for anyone on your team to edit your email campaigns. Then, you can further your email marketing by sending out SMS messages with your latest announcements and deals, with all the same tools to gather contacts and segment them into lists that you're already using with your emails.
Whether its keyword research, content optimization, or checking your current page rankings, every marketer needs a go-to tool for planning what content to create and how to optimize it for SEO. Google Analytics and SEMrush our great tools for planning which keywords to rank for, but how do you make sure the content you create actually meets your goal once it's created?
Free Plan: Benchmark Email's free email plan comes equipped with a fairly large number of emails. The entry level allows small-business marketers to send up to 14,000 emails a month and store 2,000 email contacts. Its free option also comes loaded with basic features such as email analytics, email drag-and-drop editor, email drip campaigns and more.
For a self-hosted app to send beautiful email newsletters, look no further than Sendy. It's a PHP and MySQL based app that runs on your own servers, and it shouldn't be any more difficult to setup than a new WordPress install. Once it's up and running, you can create rich email newsletters with your own templates, use autoresponders to automatically send emails, and track stats on your email marketing.
As new marketing techniques and strategies pop up almost daily, email marketing has truly evolved to keep pace with flashy new technology and capture the attention of customers. A great email helps you engage your customer and deliver your message, which can make a difference between a click-through and a direct route to your website or losing a customer’s interest and being sent to the spam folder.  Modern marketers need a combination of eye-catching design, clever text, and attention-grabbing headlines to engage today’s consumers. That’s why we have compiled a collection of our favorite emails.

When you're ready to send an email to your list, it's as easy as sending a reply in Outlook or Gmail. Sendloop's editor show your From address and Subject line at the top, lets you pick your subscriber list in the To field, then type in your email with rich or plain text. If you need to edit photos, there's a built-in Creative Cloud-powered editor for simple Photoshop tools in your browser.

A newcomer based in Lithuania, MailerLite has a young and dynamic team (averaging 25 years of age) that creates a modern and simple newsletter product. Their aim is international: both the support and interface are available in multiple languages. And in spite of basic appearances, Mailerlite offers good tools, a robust editor and a “free for life” price plan. Too good to be true? Apparently not, as you’ll see in the pros and cons below.

Want your link testing stream-lined? Put the email through a landing page test and within minutes, you’re going to get an overlay of that email with complete results for every link. The ESP tracking report inserts a tracking pixel in your email and you get subscriber data such as how and where the email was opened, how much time the user spent time reading it, and if it was organically forwarded or printed.

Design: Most survey software allows you to arrange your questions and tweak the layout. However, the best survey platforms offer additional tools to make your surveys visually appealing and are designed to promote your brand. Our best pick, SurveyGizmo, offers customizable templates in all its paid plans and individual URLs in the higher-priced plans.

Email marketing tools are tools that marketers use to create, send, test, optimize and report on their email campaigns. An email marketing tool could be a specific tool related to email marketing like an email subject line generator, or an inbox placement testing tool, or a suite of tools that enables a marketer to do all their email marketing end-to-end.
Have you ever heard of email campaign feedback? Email feedback plays an important role in customer-centricity. By collecting this feedback within your email campaigns, you provide a platform for two-way communication with your customers where they can share their thoughts and perceptions of your email(s) and the information you’ve provided. In other words, you as an email marketer gain insight into what your readers truly value.

Most importantly, if you hobnob with any other free Autoresponder or paid services and later on if you want a switch to Aweber, it can get difficult to import your list to Aweber unless with double-op-in again! Your list needs to be approved by their import specialists.  So if you are new and starting fresh -- start with Aweber. Your goals and objectives need to be different for whether it's an eblast (promotional email) or regular enewsletter. Eblasts are great for getting quick leads/sales, while enewsletters are better for staying top of mind, educating customers on new offerings, or providing helpful industry updates. I have found them to be very successful, but what works and what doesn't requires testing (of both the subject line and creative) and varies per business. Best practices for both types include have...

MailChimp 12,000 emails per month (daily limit of 2,000), for up to 2,000 subscribers. MailChimp’s autoresponder range is comprehensive. It includes basic autoresponders (welcome, date-based, RSS etc), as well as more advanced options (e.g. ecommerce, tag-based). The main drawback – their autoresponder editor isn’t the easiest to use. No/limited advanced features. The features offered by different products vary—some include advanced features while others reserve it for their premium plans. You may need some features that are not in the plan such as A/B testing, autoresponders, spam filter diagnostics, and social media monitoring, among others. If so, it is more cost-effective to upgrade to affordable premium plans that contain the features you actually need.
What's more, you can setup multiple brands inside your Sendy account. That lets you send emails to all the list you need for multiple products or companies. Hi. thank you for the great information. I currently have Mail Chimp and it is set up to sync between my WordPress site and Mail Chimp. the problem is it isn’t and new subscribers to my blog are not being updated onto the list on the Mail chimp end. I have tried several fixes and nothing is working. I am unsure what to do now after endless googling it may be time to quit Mail Chimp. Seems others are having this problem also.
